1. The Pick-up and drive to Taksim Square
Your designated driver will pick you up from your desired location in Istanbul and you will start your journey to Taksim Square. Taksim Square is located on the European side of Istanbul and it is known as one of the most famous places in the country.
2. Walking tour in Istiklal street and Galata Tower
With authentic restaurants, cafes, hotels and shops, Taksim Square and the connected Istiklal Avenue is a wonderful example of the melting pot that Istanbul is. There are countless shops to visit as well as historical structures and landmarks along Istiklal street. At the end of Istiklal street, there is Galata tower.
The stone tower of Galata was built in 1348 by the Genoese who lived in the neighborhood at the time. The tower was the tallest structure in Istanbul with almost 67 meters in height. Galata Tower has an amazing view of the Bosporus, especially towards sunset.
After your visit to Galata Tower, you will be taking the historical funicular line to Karakoy, also known as the tunnel.
3. Pick-up from Karakoy tunnel station
The tunnel was built in 1875 and connects Beyoglu to Karakoy. Karakoy is located on the shore of Golden Horn with many authentic places to see and a beautiful view. If you’re hungry, the street food of Karakoy is very famous, especially the fish sandwiches.
Your driver will pick you up from Karakoy and you will head to Pierre Loti Hill for a Turkish coffee break.
4. Turkish Coffee Break at Pierre Loti Hill
Taking its name from the famous French author, Pierre Loti Hill is one of the greatest spots to enjoy the view of Golden Horn. The coffee shop on the hill was visited frequently by the famous author, and it is said he wrote most of his books there.
5. Return ride through Golden Horn and Galata bridge
