2. Miletus Ancient Theatre
According to the excavation findings and archaeological research, it is assumed that Miletus was a place of habitation for people as early as 3500 B.C. and the theatre in Miletus was built in the Hellenistic era. Afterwards, it was renovated by the Roman Empire and the capacity of the theatre was increased from 5.000 people to 20.000 people.
After seeing Miletus Ancient Theatre, you will head to Apollon Temple. The ride to Apollon Temple will take around 25 minutes.
3. Apollon Temple
As the third-largest temple in the world in Ionic fashion, Apollon Temple is considered to be one of the most well-preserved temples from ancient times. The temple was seen as a centre for prophecies and held in a higher place by the common people when compared to regular temples. There’s also a large sculpture of Medusa at the temple’s entrance, which was believed to provide protection against enemies and friends.
After Apollon Temple, you will be taking a lunch break as well as some free time to enjoy Didim.

It is assumed that the monastery was built in the 7th century A.D.; the monastery consists of 2 churches, 1 chapel, 1 cistern, and the chambers of the monks. What makes Yediler Monastery significant is the mural that depicts Jesus Christ and the 12 apostles.
